This is a hands-on workshop sponsored by Protectors. It will cover artistic topics such as the purposes of Nature Photography, Cell Phone controls, and developing a story around your subject. Selecting a subject suitable for your camera, types of light, using simple light modifiers, composition factors and color will be discussed. The concept of the “decisive moment” will be introduced. Focal lengths, f/stops and shutter speeds will not be addressed here. A bonus discussion (30 min) will be conducted at the conclusion for those with point and shoot (P&S) and Bridge Cameras. Presented by John Ares, who has been making photographs since age 7 and had his first photography business at age 15. Suitable for ages 6 years and up.
